mandai orchid garden

went to mandai orchid garden today! i thought it would be damn boring, but it was alright. hahas. miss jessica lim and miss sumitha went with us cos mrs ajith need to be present for science practical i guess. here are the pics:
(i took this at home cos it would be rude to take 'em at the place, while the instructor is explaining.)
first activity for our group.
its the putting of young seedlings in nutrient media, which enable them to grow.
its the vanda mandai poppet plant, an orchid. this activity was the best to me.
grow grOW GROW!
next is the second activity. dont understand what the instructor was saying, but its about plant. LOL.
this is one orchid which i took from the instructor. also taken at home.
i also took a stalk. hahas.
then we had a short break. took many pictures. haha. the place was nice.

honestly, i dont love flowers. but i find these a beauty.
these caught my eyes.

i only like the colours. lols.
i didnt know why i took this. maybe of its colour. lols.
okay, i knew why i took this. cos these orchids are humongous. hahas.
the ubiquitous lime plant. ( i'm not sure, took by chance i think )
i thought the chillis were all so small;
but there were huge ones too. LOL.
erm.. this is a dunno what thing..
flowery pond. small but elegant.
after the break, there's a last activity. and i only took one picture although there were two 'souveniers' when doing the activity. i threw away the real orchid DNA cos it was disgusting! lols. it looks like some kind of saliva and i dont wanna have any saliva at home. haha. 
i took this photo, at home. guess what. its a DNA structure. but seems like i've destroyed it. haha. cos my hands were oily la. and the beads were so mini. i had a hard time putting those in place. and the wire hurts. thats why i anyhow do already. somemore twist here and there wan. difficult la. haha. and this activity was the worse for me. hahas.that's quite all ba.
